The first time I tasted Buffalo Rock Ginger Ale I was pregnant with Judson, my first child, and a friend told me to give it a try for morning sickness.   It is no real shocker then to know that it was developed as a tonic in the early 1900’s by Birmingham grocer Sidney Lee to soothe upset stomachs.  Since its early beginnings Buffalo Rock’s Ginger Ale has had a loyal following with its sweet, spicy flavor.  Made with real ginger, it gives a kick straight to your sinuses like no other.  Buffalo Rock Ginger Ale is totally legit.

With the rise in popularity of signature and hand-crafted cocktails it is no wonder that “the most gingery” of ginger ales has made its way out of the nostalgic and cult following realm into a full blown ingredient, not mixer, among the ultra cool and hipster sets.  In the Birmingham area mixologists at Dram Whiskey Bar, El Barrio, Spring House and Carrigan’s Public House have all created their own signature cocktails using this uniquely Southern beverage.  The folks at Buffalo Rock have also come up with a few Rocktails of their own that I have included below.  Their Ginger Ale is caffeine free and the sharp, spicy beverage comes in regular and diet flavors.  Buffalo Rock Ginger Ale is available in grocery stores throughout the Southeast and can also be ordered straight from Buffalo Rock.

    Kelly,
The copper mug makes everything colder. I put this link up quickly last night so shop around the internet for price comparisons.

It is certainly cheaper than my Feverfew ginger beer too!

Kim, I have never had that ginger beer, but BR Ginger Ale is worth a try!

I had to share my new favorite cocktail! Deep Eddy Ruby Red Grapefruit vodka with diet ginger ale and a lime! It is so good. Let me know what you think :)

I am all over that! It sounds amazing.
