Dropping Butter off at Camp Greystone
By Buffy York
So back when I was a pharmaceutical rep I was a threat to wear the same outfit 3 or more times a week. I mean, why not? I worked alone and I called on different offices everyday. The only person I might see twice in a week was my partner and she and I laid down the “no judgment” rule early on. Times have changed, and since I am throwing myself all over the internet on every social media platform I can handle, I try to switch it up a little and not seem like I am wearing the same thing over and over again.
Enter the blue and white shirt I bought at Fab’ rik Homewod that I have worn in so many of my Instagram posts it is embarrassing. But in my defense it is a really cute shirt and I always get tons of compliments on it. Last week I dropped my daughter Alice (a.k.a Butter) off at camp and, of course, I was wearing the shirt. A few days later I received a message from a reader in Charlotte who had seen me at the camp drop-off and thought she recognized me from the blog and Instagram and asked me where she could find “the shirt.” I’m not kidding. (I hope you found it Laura)
Anyway, it really is a great shirt that looks good with white and khaki shorts and how cute will it be with red shorts for The Fourth? I have also dressed it up with dark denim and a jacket and dressed it down with distressed jeans and wedges. Check with you local Fab’rik boutique for availability. I am hooking you up below with several similar options. Here is my favorite.
