Leopard is my Favorite Color

This is my spring uniform.  White jeans, neutral accessories and a fun top are go-tos for me when I am getting dressed for the day this time of year.  When it comes to price I am very much a high/low dresser.  I wear my jeans daily so I usually spend more on jeans and less on tops, but once or twice a season I splurge on a blouse.  This Equipment blouse is the lucky winner this time.  I love a leopard print and I love Equipment washed silk blouses even more, so this was a no-brainer.  This blouse can be worn all year long by itself, or under a sweater or blazer.  That takes a little sting out of the price, and as far as I am concerned, the subtleness of this leopard print is perfect since it is taking up a considerable amount of outfit real estate.  The print on this blouse doesn’t scream “I bought this at a discount store*” or hoochie mama.   It has a classic way of getting the job done.  Top it off with my favorite earrings from Shalla Wista and this horn necklace from Liz Legg, both Birmingham jewelry designers, and I am good to go.

*Attention all discount store shoppers:  Please do not take offense to my comments above.  I shop there too.   That is how I know they have some jacked-up leopard prints.
