I did not wake up like this. These pictures were taken last weekend in Charleston at the Belmond Charleston Place. I, along with 75 other bloggers, attended The Southern Blog Society Annual Conference and this was around 5 o’clock on Saturday afternoon. I had spent the morning listening to some amazing speakers and the better half of the afternoon meeting with 25 different brands. The closest experience to this I have ever had was sorority rush 25 years ago, so believe me, the chance that there was wine in this mug was as good as a scattered afternoon thunder shower.
After a full day of high heels and being “on” nothing felt as good as slipping into these pajama pants and robe from Royal Highnies. The first time I heard about Royal Highnies was at a Fall Fashion preview at Gus Mayer so I featured their boxer shorts in my Gift Guide for The Boys at Christmas. A friend of mine told me the story of her father-in-law losing his luggage on a trip (compliments of the airlines) and only freaking out about his Royal Highnies, so when I attended the first Pepper Place Pop-Up Shop in Birmingham, I had to buy these pajama pants to see what all the fuss was about. Let me tell you, Royal Highnies are the real deal, they are made of 400 thread count pima cotton and they don’t shrink. Translated that means super soft fabric that is lightweight and silky at the same time. Trust me, they are totally legit…so much so that I had to have the robe.
Royal Highnies and Scarlet & Gold are helping me celebrate The Style Gathering’s First Birthday. Royal Highnies is giving away a pair of men’s or women’s shorts and Scarlet & Gold is giving away a phone case. To enter go to the Birthday Giveaway Post for all the details.
