Confession, I have never used The Dollar Shave Club, but since they aren’t sponsoring this post I can confidently maintain my non “sell-out” status. It was actually my neighbor’s idea to alert The Style Gathering readers of the magic of The Dollar Shave Club. He says that it is comparatively inexpensive, ridiculously convenient and he likes the products. He also recently had an impressive customer service experience. Considering my husband, Tim, and I often have conversations (initiated by him) surrounding the excellent customer service at Chik-fil-A, I know that this is an important part of any buying experience. Just in time for Father’s Day I am going to fill you in on the details of The Dollar Shave Club.

Basically it is a membership with no commitments or fees. They have three levels of membership that provide a razor and 4-5 cartridges a month depending on your membership level. For $1, $6 or $9 dollars you get 2, 4 or 6 stainless steel blade cartridges monthly and free shipping with the higher two levels. You can also adjust delivery frequency and upgrade or downgrade levels at no extra charge. You can add any of their shaving products to your shipment at anytime.

Spoiler Alert…my daddy is so getting this for Father’s Day. You can buy your dad or husband a membership or a gift card and he can select his own preferences. Since Tim is a Costco shopper and has enough blades stockpiled until the second coming, he will be getting a Chik-fil-A gift card.
