The Quest Continues

Peeps there are only 6 days left for the Shop Save & Share card and I am starting to feel the pressure. While this is a local program that benefits the Junior League of Birmingham, don’t be confused and think the retailers that are participating are all local. It seems to me that tons of the major national retail players are in on the action this year. I want to know how you all are using your card and I’m gonna let you in on a few more ways I am using mine. Every year the number of retailers expands and every year I think I get better at maximizing the savings offered by the card.
First off, I have been dying to try the Core Suspend class at Core Pilates in Cahaba Heights and this way I can save money and see if I even think I can handle the class on a regular basis. Not to confuse me with a gym rat, I am a big fan of Pure Barre, but I am in love with these super stylish Saucony flannel tennis shoes (not that gym rats wear flannel tennis shoes) that Madewell ordered for me in store and I still got the discount! As far as fitness goes, I told my friend yesterday that since I have slowed down my blogging pace I am “getting dressed” less often and need more casual/comfortable clothes that look good in the real world and while I am working out. How amazing are these pants from Athleta? Athleta accepts the JLB Shop Save and Share card, but if you are a Lulu die hard and are bummed because they don’t, just head over to Pure Barre Homewood. they have Lululemon and much more at the 20% discount.
While you are in Homewood be sure to stop by SOCA to check out their premium denim and the BLow the Belt Leather Tassel keychains. Greatest invention ever because when your keychain resembles a Muppet you never lose it. Speaking of not losing things, what about these crazy reasonable statement rings from Judith Bright‘s new shop in Mountain Brook? How good will they look with a must have colorful cocoon coat from J.Crew?
Enough about me and what I want, let’s talk Christmas. The Le Crueset outlet is part of the SSS program and if you can cook, watch the cooking channel and appreciate quality, I might just buy you a piece of French fabulousness this year. I also am thinking this Kate Spade planner, Tory Burch bag from Gus Mayer and Clarisonic from Village Dermatogy might make it’s way under the tree this year.
Seriously, Let me know in the comments below how you are using your card this year. With over 500 retailers it is hard to narrow it down. Help a sister out. Our SSS days are numbered!
